TellyDraft (formerly known as Fantasy BB) is back for “Big Brother 27,” but it’s not just running it back with a new logo. The longtime fan-run fantasy game has been reworked behind the scenes since last season. And while the core is still there, it now comes with expanded features, support for other reality shows, as well as a few long-overdue tools that’ll make gameplay less annoying and more interactive.
There’s Another Way to Obsess Over the Drama
The rebrand from Fantasy BB to TellyDraft is more about direction than aesthetics. As the devs shared on Reddit, the same team that’s been running things for seven years is still behind it; they’re just building something a bit bigger now.
“We are expanding our support to additional shows, starting with Survivor 49 this fall, with more to come in the future!” the team shared. “So much more has been worked on behind the scenes to prepare TellyDraft for big things.”
So yeah, if you’ve ever joked about putting together a fantasy league for “Housewives” or “Love Island,” this may be your moment. Nothing confirmed beyond “Survivor “yet, but the fact they’re even saying “more to come” is promising.

More Control, Less Chaos: TellyDraft Delivers
Let’s be honest; fantasy leagues shouldn’t require spreadsheets, group chat drama, and someone yelling “who picked Cirie?” every five seconds. Luckily, TellyDraft finally cleaned things up.
Private leagues now support custom draft orders, a longtime fan request. You can also submit both a “Winner Pick” and a “First Boot Pick” before the season starts; and see how your guesses stack up against everyone else’s. So if you’re riding a bold prediction? You’ll know if you’re alone on that hill.
New features like a weekly “Popularity” ranking let you rank the cast from fave to flop, while the “Draft Rank” tab shows how each contestant is trending across all leagues. Longtime players also get access to full league history, which is either fun or very humbling.
Behind the scenes, quality-of-life updates are rolling in: auto-draft is off by default, commissioners can make picks for others or transfer their role, and anyone can leave a league at any time. No more getting stuck managing a group you started in Season 23 out of peer pressure.
TellyDraft isn’t reinventing the wheel… it’s just finally giving reality TV fans the tools they’ve been yelling about for years.
Excitement, Relief, and Curiosity
Fans are definitely showing up for the new changes. One user wrote, “Yessssss! Been using this since you guys launched and have always hoped for new shows!!! Thanks to everyone involved!”
Of course, not everyone’s sure how expansion beyond” Big Brother” will play out. One fan raised a valid point: “I feel like it would be tough to do something like this for shows other than Big Brother and keep it fair, considering you can find spoilers online for pre-recorded shows (like Survivor) pretty easily.”
TellyDraft responded directly to that concern, noting: “We’ll see how it goes! This is all for bragging rights so I hope not many people would want to ruin an entire season for themselves to cheat in a league. But no matter how this ends up we’ll always support Big Brother.”
So yeah, while the BB community is mostly hyped, there’s already some healthy debate (and a lot of curiosity) about where things go next.
All in all, TellyDraft seems like it’s trying to meet fans where they are: overinvested, very online, and absolutely ready to argue over reality tv alliances like it’s a sport.
