Julie Chen Moonves Drops Status Update on ‘Big Brother’ Season 27

iIt looks like “Big Brother” isn’t done looking for its next batch of schemers, showmancers, and competition beasts, according to Julie Chen Moonves who just posted a casting update. Yep, you read that right; there’s still time to snag your spot in the most iconic house on reality TV.

The House Is Calling

In a recent Instagram post (seen below), the longtime host of “Big Brother” gave fans a quick but exciting reminder: casting is still open for the upcoming season. And let’s be real; if there was ever a summer to shoot your shot, it’s this one.

While she didn’t spill any major twists (classic Chenbot), her update confirms that producers are still combing through applicants. Translation? If you’ve got a loud personality, love a good blindside, and aren’t afraid of a few slop weeks, the door is wide open… literally.

Do You Have What It Takes?

“Big Brother” has always been about the perfect mix: a little strategy, a lot of drama, and just enough unhinged energy to keep viewers glued for 90+ days. Think you could float your way to finale night? Or better yet, dominate the comps and run the house from day one? Either way, it seems like the casting team still wants to hear from people.

While the production is going out on casting calls looking for the next houseguests, people are still required to apply online, according to the Eligibility Requirements CBS has posted. To apply, head to bigbrothercasting.tv and submit your video. Show off what makes you unique; and yes, that includes your unfiltered diary room rants.

There’s no guarantee you’ll end up on the show, but one thing’s for sure: you can’t win if you don’t try. Just ask past winners who started out as superfans dreaming from their couches.

Whether you’re ready to form alliances or start a showmance that implodes by week three, now’s your chance to get in the game. Julie’s waiting. The house is waiting. The live feeds are definitely waiting. So, grab your camera. You might just be the next Houseguest we love to love… or love to watch get evicted.

When Will Season 27 Air?

No premiere date has been officially announced (yet), but based on past patterns, “Big Brother” Season 27 will most likely debut sometime this summer (i.e. in late June or early July). Julie had previously posted on photo of herself all dressed up with the caption, “The cards are back! The wardrobe is back! We’ll see what’s coming next 👀👀😇🏡,” so we know something big is on its way for this season.

And, with Julie at the helm again, fans expect signature phrases like “But first…” and “Be kind to one another,” as well as all the live eviction chaos. Of course, we’ll be watching for new twists, returning themes, and the inevitable showmances that burn bright—and crash fast.

The countdown is officially on…
