Did Slater Nalley Make It Through on ‘American Idol’ This Week? 4/28/2025

Slate Nalley was announced as moving on the top 12 on “American Idol” 2025 on April 27th, but tonight, there was another elimination night. Did Nalley make it through this week on the show? Is Nalley a part of the top 10 for season 23?

The answer is … Yes. Nalley made it into the top 10.

Nalley Previously Fell Off the Stage

On an episode of the show this season, Nalley actually fell off the stage. See the clip in the above Instagram post.

Fortunately, Nalley was okay and clearly was lighthearted about the live mishap.

According to Atlanta Magazine, Nalley learned to play the guitar by watching Youtube after his aunt gave him a guitar. Nalley said, “It’s when I knew that music was my thing.” And then he started writing his own music.
