During his June 19 concert at the Walmart AMP in Rogers, Arkansas, Bryan announced mid-show that he would refund concertgoers’ tickets because he was losing his voice.

A fan captured the moment in a TikTok video, with Bryan explaining, “I’m gonna get real with y’all. This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I cannot have my voice in this venue for some reason. It happens every time, I don’t know why.”

He continued, “You know, I saw Luke Combs do this a couple years ago when he was having a weird night on stage and I said, ‘You know what, that’s pretty cool.’ So I don’t give a damn, I’m gonna refund everybody their tickets tonight and we’re gonna keep doing the damn show, okay?”

The “American Idol” judge continued, “Because we’re just gonna make this what it is. I don’t know why I’ve had to do this every time, but y’all can hear it, so we’re gonna make the most of it. Let’s do it.”

In a June 20 Instagram Story, Bryan announced he had to cancel that day’s Dallas show and the June 21 show in Lafayette, Louisiana, “due to illness.” The shows were rescheduled for September. The post noted, “Please hold on to your tickets — they will be honored for the new dates. Thank you for your understanding.”
