Luke Bryan Busts a Move—And a Body Part—During Hilarious Concert Moment

Country superstar Luke Bryan may not be wowing fans with his dance moves, but he’s certainly keeping them laughing!

The “American Idol” judge was attempting to show off his moonwalking skills and funky moves during his “A Country Song Came On” tour stop in Cincinnati, Ohio August 1. Luke was covering the Bruno Mars hit “Uptown Funk.”

But in the end, the singer’s not-so-smooth moves turned out more funny than funky, and may’ve ultimately been a little painful.

Countryreelz posted a video of Luke’s dance on Instagram. And fans are here for it.

In fact, one summed it up like this, commenting, “No one has more fun at a Luke Bryan concert, than Luke Bryan.”

Another wrote, “You can always depend on him with the moves 😂😂 reminds me of “ don’t drop that thun thun thun “ gotta love Luke Bryan 🫶🏻🤣❤️”

And another enthused, “I could sit for hours watching his humor”

Luke Bryan Keeps the Crowd Laughing Along

In the now viral video, Bryan attempts several different moves, before waving his hands in the air and yelling “alright, stop.”

Luke then walks around the stage, clearly winded, before signaling to the band to start again. He then attempts his version of the moonwalk, launching into Michael Jackson’s hit “Billie Jean.”

But he doesn’t get far before stopping the band and admitting all the dancing has worn him out. Luke takes a drink and then tells fans, “I’m sure all of that will go viral in the morning.”

Then the “Country Girl” singer admits to the audience that all the dancing has perhaps caused him an injury in a rather delicate part of his anatomy.

Luke’s bawdy admission delights the crowd, who cheer and laugh until Luke pivots back to what he does best, introducing his hit “A Country Song Came On” as the band strikes up once again.

Luke Bryan Lives By the Mantra ‘The Show Must Go On’

Luke Bryan has been vocal about his devotion to fans, singing while nearly falling in one video, wanting to press on with shows when he was battling COVID and even keeping the music going when he was hit in the face with a flying object during a recent performance.

Country Cast has put up a new video showing a different angle of that incident at the North Dakota State Fair that gives a clearer view of exactly what happened. The new video shows Luke facing the camera as the object hits him. It appears to be a soft, possibly plush ball.

Luke Bryan Talks About the Hazards of Performing

Luke Bryan has since commented on the incident, saying, “It was the last song of the night. It was a big ole fun party, and I think one person just took it too far.”

And Luke says unfortunately, it’s something that is happening more and more often. And not just to him.

“We see it,” he said. “Every other entertainer out there is getting stuff– you get stuff thrown at ya.”

Luke admits he didn’t see who threw the object, and admits the night might have had a very different ending if he had.

“I mean, if I saw him throw it, I could have gone right to him,” Luke said. “I probably would have jumped right off in there.”
