Iam Tongi & Girlfriend Leah Share Relationship Update With New Pics

“American Idol” season 21 winner Iam Tongi and his girlfriend Leah are giving fans a glimpse into their sweet relationship. The couple is going strong and they seem to be as in love as ever in a series of photos posted on Instagram.

The joint post features a carousel of 20 pics of the couple looking adorable doing various activities like visiting an arcade, trying on sunglasses, and just hanging at home. One photo shows Tongi lying on the beach beneath the name “Leah” written in the sand with a heart.

Leah commented on the post, “A whole lot of life with the one I love” accompanied by the double heart emoji. Tongi commented back, “I love you so much babe” with three red hearts, and Leah replied, “I love you most.” 

How Long Have Iam Tongi and Leah Been Dating?

Back in December of 2024, Tongi posted a different set of cute pics on Instagram featuring he and Leah, and the caption revealed it was their one-year anniversary. “1 year ago you forced me to ask you out, nah nah jk jk, I love you babe, forever,” Tongi wrote.

Leah commented on the post, “happy anniversary my handsome, I love you more.” Reality star Brittan Byrd also commented on the post, writing, “you two are adorable,” and Tongi’s fellow “American Idol” contestant Paige Anne wrote, “so precious.” 

Iam Tongi’s Recent Transformation

Tongi’s loving relationship with his girlfriend is just one more amazing thing he has going on in his life at the moment. The Hawaiian-born singer performed at the Grand Ole Opry in June 2025, and he’s touring the U.S. this summer and fall. 

The singer also recently shared a health update, as he told People in May that he’d dropped 115 lbs. Tongi explained that his impressive weight loss was due to a lot of hard work, including exercising with the guidance of a personal trainer.

Tongi shared a bit of his fitness routine, explaining, “We have a workout session maybe around 11, come back [home], and we go to an ice bath or sauna … or whatever it is.” He added that his workouts are followed by a shower and a walk.

The “Idol” winner, who recently made the move to Memphis, Tennessee to focus on his music, said that his healthy routine was working wonders. “It feels amazing. I feel great,” Tongi shared.
