Stars Unite for FireAid Concert: How to Watch & Who’s Performing

More than two dozen major music acts, from pop star and former “American Idol” judge Katy Perry to R&B legend Stevie Wonder, will unite for FireAid, a five-hour benefit concert to raise money for victims of the wildfires that devastated portions of Los Angeles in January 2025.

The January 30 benefit will be held at two L.A. venues — the Kia Forum and the Intuit Dome — but there are also many ways fans can watch, listen and participate from anywhere, per a press release from organizers.

“I am so honored to be playing FireAid L.A.,” Perry said in a video shared to FireAid’s Instagram Stories on January 30. “It’s going to be such an incredible night and there’s so many amazing artists. But most importantly, we are helping those impacted by the devastating wildfires here in L.A.”

“I’m so incredibly inspired by the activism and the organization of my community during this time,” she continued. “People lending a hand, being kind, the GoFundMe’s, all of this. They’re so inspiring to see, it really shows me that the people are so powerful, especially when they join together.”

Perry, who’s about to launch her first world tour in nearly five years, will perform at the Intuit Dome alongside the following artists: Billie Eilish, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Sting, Tate McRae, and Stevie Wonder.

Meanwhile, performers at the Kia Dome include Alanis Morissette, Anderson.Paak, John Mayer, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt with Gwen Stefani, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, and The Black Crowes.

Though Dave Matthews was originally scheduled to perform, FireAid organizers shared in a post on January 29 that “due to a critical illness in the family, Dave Matthews is unfortunately unable to perform at the FireAid and MusicCares benefits this week.”

A portion of ticket sales, net proceeds from concert merchandise, and 100% of donations made online during the five-hour event will be distributed via the Annenberg Foundation to aid in “short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California,” per the event website. In addition, philanthropists Connie and Steve Ballmer have pledged to match every contribution made via FireAidLA.org during the broadcast, organizers said, which will double the impact of donations.
