The top 14 contestants from season 23 of “American Idol” took a glamorous break from preparing for their next big show, attending Hulu’s Get Real House — a celebrity event in Los Angeles on April 22, 2025. The swanky outdoor party was attended by reality TV royalty including Khloe Kardashian, “Dancing With The Stars” hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, and “The Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer.
Many of the contestants posted photos and videos after the party, thrilled about meeting — and even performing for — some of their favorite stars from Hulu and ABC’s unscripted shows.

EntertainmentNOW/Getty/DisneyWhile at the Hulu Get Real event, the top 14 contestants got to pose for individual photos to show off their hair, makeup and wardrobe picks. Many of them posted their own photos and videos of the stars they got to meet.
Former “The Hills” star Spencer Pratt, one of 10 celebs competing in Hulu’s “Got To Get Out,” recorded a cute video with Amanda Barise, urging fans to vote for her.
Gabby Samone posted multiple pics in her Instagram Stories with stars she met including Kimmel, YouTube sensation Markell Washington, and with Ribeiro — alongside fellow contestants Jordan and Desmond Roberts.
Ché Chesterman, who hairs from England, posted pics with some of the stars he met, too, and the contents of a swag bag from the Kardashians’ suite. Included in the goodie bag was merch for Kylie Jenner’s 818 Tequila, a “plumping lip gloss trio” from her beauty line, a bottle of Khloe Kardashian’s XO perfume, and a bottle of Kourtney Kardashians’s Lemme Matcha supplements.
DisneyIn videos posted by entertainment reporter and “Idol” insider Dean McCarthy, the singers could be seen performing on a small stage for guests — including Kolbi Jordan belting out Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” — and meeting late night host Jimmy Kimmel, who posted for a group photo and pics with many of them individually.
Photos and videos from partygoers showed that others got on stage, too, including Slater Nalley performing with John Foster, and Desmond Roberts pumping his fists in the air as he sang.
John Foster Said He Was ‘Flabbergasted’ to Meet Vanna White
Eighteen-year-old contestant John Foster posted a video with Ryan Seacrest’s “Wheel of Fortune” co-host, Vanna White, noting that he was “starstruck” to meet her and blown away that she knew who he was.
In his video with White standing next to him, Foster said, “Hey, it’s John Foster and I am so incredibly honored to meet the one and only Vanna White. It’s such a pleasure! I’m just flabbergasted right now. There’s no other words to say.”
Holding his hands in hers, White shook her head and said, “It is such a pleasure to meet this young man, and he is so talented and so good!”
She then hugged him saying, “It’s such a pleasure! Amazing.”
