Sofia Vergara Seems to Confirm New Relationship

After a tumultuous couple of years, it appears that Sofía Vergara may have achieved the 2025 she was hoping for. After winning a Golden Globe for the Netflix series “Griselda” at the beginning of the year, she told “Access Hollywood” that she was hoping for “Health, money, a boyfriend. Or a lover, maybe.”

On June 30, the “America’s Got Talent” judge was spotted in Rome with Douglas Chabbott, with whom she has been linked. The two were snapped in an embrace, and if Vergara’s smile is anything to go on, she looks like she’s already found her new beau.

Vergara, 52, and businessman Chabbott were spotted leaving a restaurant in Rome when he picked her up in an embrace and kissed her cheek. The actress, who was wearing a form-fitting floral dress and carrying a green purse, looked incredibly happy.

On July 1, Vergara posted a carousel of photos and videos to her Instagram with the caption, “What a perfect weekend full of surprises! gracias! luv u.” She tagged Israeli-Canadian entrepreneur Mark Scheinberg, Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, and Doug Chabbott.

The photos show Vergara hanging out with friends, including Tom Brady. But in the last picture, Chabbott comes up behind her and puts his arms on her waist. She turns around and begins dancing with him.

On May 22, Vergara posted a video from her birthday, with the whole restaurant erupting in the song “Happy birthday.” She threw up both middle fingers at the camera before she got up from her table and started dancing. In the caption, she wrote, “Respect me Doug Chabbott.”

Since then, Chabbot has made numerous appearances in her photos and videos in France, Italy, and at the Monaco Grand Prix on May 25.

Vergara’s Relationship With Justin Saliman Ended in 2024

It’s been two years since Vergara and Joe Manganiello ended their seven-year marriage. They’ve both made it clear that they’ve moved on. The “True Blood” star was spotted with Caitlin O’Connor two months after they split, while Vergara was photographed with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman in November 2023.

It’s unclear when the “Modern Family” star and Saliman went their separate ways, as they were often seen together in the first half of 2024. His last appearance on her social media occurred in August 2024. Two months later, she told “Us Weekly” that she was “kind of single.”
