“America’s Got Talent” is returning tonight for Season 20, Episode 2, and it’s promising to be as entertaining as Episode 1 because of the impressive lineup of acts. The talent competition airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and is available to stream on Peacock the next day. But what do we know about tonight’s acts? And who will win the Golden Buzzer?
Who Will Perform on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 20, Episode 2?
AGT judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofía Vergara, and Melanie “Mel B” Brown are impressed by the talent that the milestone season has attracted. Golden Buzzers have been given early in the competition. In Episode 1, we saw two acts earn a Golden Buzzer. Howie Mandel gives his to Street performer Jourdan Blue, and Cowell presses the button for the light-up art performance group, LightWire.
The acts who will perform on Episode 2 include dancer Alex Zinger & Crew, singer Austin Brown, a group of singing brothers who go by the stage name Citilimitz, and the Messoudi Brothers with their knife-throwing act. Magician Phobias, a kid’s dance group called Kid Clippers, and the band Girish and the Chronicles will also perform. So will musician Cole Swensen, Tani, a drone act from Japan, trick shot queen Amanda Badertscher, and TT Boys from Ethiopia with an acrobatic act
But who will get the prestigious Golden Buzzer tonight?
Which Act Gets the Golden Buzzer on AGT Tonight?
We know that the Messoudi brothers will be competing in the Semi-finals. Mel B gave them her first Golden Buzzer! The moment was teased ahead of Episode 2 to generate excitement for the show. A short clip of brothers performing their daring knife-throwing act was shared on Instagram on May 23. “To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we’re sharing Mel B’s first Golden Buzzer of the season early,” the caption on the post reads.
On the June 3 episode, we will be able to see the full act and why their performance blew Mel B away. “Can I just say, having seen you before, I didn’t think you’d be able to top it,” Mel B said, NBC Insider reports. “It was really frightening to watch you take [your clothes] off, which has never happened before that I’ve been scared of that. But I was scared for you to put them back on.”
The brothers are no strangers to talent competitions, and in 2024, they competed in “Britain’s Got Talent.” They also competed on “America’s Got Talent” Season 14 in 2019 and advanced to the Semifinals. Can they do better this season?
