America’s Got Talent 2025 Live Results: Season 20 Episode 2

America’s Got Talent is bringing the drama for its big 20th anniversary season. Read on to see updates to find out who got through during AGT auditions in Episode 2.

Amanda

Amanda, a P.E. teacher from Dallas, GA, displayed her athletic prowess by throwing footballs into a net on the stage. The show dramatically cut to commercial as the auditorium waited breathlessly to see whether she would make her final throw, which she performed from the upper balcony seats of the stadium.

“I’m on top of the world right now,” she declared as the stunning throw made it into the net. And the result is: YES! Amanda made it through on America’s Got Talent.

Kid Clippers

Sofia Vergara called the dance routine by the kid squad “brilliant.” Mel B called her “yes” a “no-brainer” and the group erupted into cheers as they ran offstage. “They had power!” Vergara exclaimed. And the result is YES! The Kid Clippers made it through on America’s Got Talent.

TT Boys

The two-man team of acrobats amazed their crowd with their flips and tricks. One teammate flipped into the air while the other miraculously caught him using his feet. Mel B called the performance “off the chain.” And did TT brothers make through the “America’s Got Talent” auditions? “Four yeses!” declared Simon.

Austin Brown

Brown is a singer from Tifton, GA who now resides in Nashville, TN. His dreams of singing stardom have taken him on a 20-year journey which has seen him sing on cruise ships and have his career put on pause by a relationship.

“I wasn’t expecting that,” said Mel B, as Brown began belting his rendition of “When A Man Loves A Woman.”

Vergara called it “a really great audition and Mel B said she could tell Brown really meant what he was singing. Howie voted no, but Vergara voted yes. Cowell seemingly ended Brown’s AGT dreams by voting no, calling his song choice “generic.” However, there still looks to be a glimmer of hope for Austin Brown on “America’s Got Talent.” Cowell’s parting words to the unsuccessful contestant were, “Talk to a producer, see if they can find another time.” Judging by Cowell’s comment, it looks like Brown might fight for the chance to re-audition.

Cole Swensen

Guitarist and singer Cole Swensen brought a heartfelt story to his AGT audition. He invited his mother Judy, who long ago gave up her dreams of musical stardom, to join his performance. The 23-year-old launched into an enchanting, slow version of Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida.”

Swensen’s mother then jumped into the performance on her own instrument, impressively providing the backup music.

Mel B said Swensen’s voice had “a really distinctive tone.” Howie said the performance made his heart explode. Cowell said Swensen’s inclusion of his mother was really cool, and made elevated the audition from “good” to “great.”

Swensen sailed through with 4 yeses and advanced to the next stage of the competition on America’s Got Talent.

The Messoudi Brothers Receive Golden Buzzer!

The Golden Buzzer of the night was given to the Messoudi Brothers by Mel B. The two brothers, down form a former group of 3, appeared in the past on season 14 of “America’s Got Talent” and returned to take another shot at victory after falling short of a spot in the finale.

Instead of their old balancing act, the brothers whipped up a brand new show featuring a daring knife-juggling routine. The men threw the knives back and forth to each other while alternately juggling and stripping out of their clothes. They then fully redressed-all without interrupting the constant motion of their risky moves!
